A
Day in My Life
by
Oscar, now aged 12 - but thinks he's 2.
I
am brutally forced awake, early in the mornings. I jump on my Dad's
bed, then normally stretch for a bit and beg for toast. Tyson sometimes
comes around and eats my food! I try to bat him but he is too small to
bat and Mum and Dad tell me off. He smells a bit and is old. I find him
interesting...hmmm. I go for walks in Bestwood Mill lakes, where I can
splash, or in Bestwood Country Park (squirrel territory). I then hunt
for the cat next door who is BRILLIANT! She is all black and scratchy.
I have dinner when it starts to get dark, and after dinner I dig the
sofa for rabbits, just in case. I am quite regal and like to pretend to
be Sofa King. When doing this I sometimes cross my paws for effect,
they taught me how to do this at finishing school. I hope to learn how
to swim in the near future, and become better behaved in public and not
be scared of cars or other noisy things quite so much. I sleep at the
bottom of the stairs to Dad's loft - on guard all night of course!
