On
Monday August 9th we had to make the terrible decision that keeping
Oscar with us any longer was just being selfish. He was either
terrified or doped up, near blind, deaf and very arthritic. So we
sent thim to a more peaceful sleep, and have only a few hundered
photos and a few thousand memories left. Some of these we share here.
Oscar did an
awful lot for me. We got him just after my second breakdown, and he
dragged me out on walks and gave me companionship and attention even
when I was in the depths of depression. I hope I was able to repay
him.
